1970 Jeep CJ5
$2000
The Jeep has the Dauntless 225 V6, and a T18 3 speed tranny. The 4wd works fine, and I just put $1000 into the drive train; rebuilt transfer case, new u-joints throughout the drive line. BestTop soft top is a an older one, and the rear seat is gone. The heater is not connected, as the wire to the controls is not attached. The speedo does not work, neither does the odometer, and so I have no idea how many miles it has. It does have great compression, and my mechanic says he thinks it was rebuilt recently.

this is the only rust on the jeep; its like maybe it was left sitting for a while with the top leaking in one place. It would be an easy weld.

no rust underneath, thats dirt that you see.

As you can see, the paint is not so hot, and the interior is a bit rough, but that is exactly why I bought it and put money into it. Its a solid old Jeep with a ton of character, and it has served me perfectly. I have taken it off roading a bit and it never complained, and I use it just about daily to do errands about town.

The tires are showing some dry rot, and I would say they should be replaced soon-ish, but since I was lacking the money at the time, i never did that.

I have both doors that go with this top.
